Our Success Stories

Celebrating the happy tails of dogs we've helped find forever homes.

Every Tail Tells a Story

At Congleton Dog Rescue, every adoption is a journey from uncertainty to unconditional love. These are the stories of resilience, hope, and joy — tales of dogs who’ve overcome challenges and found their forever families.

From the timid puppy learning to trust, to the senior dog finally discovering comfort and companionship, each story is a celebration of life. Our dedicated volunteers, foster families, and adopters play a part in creating these happy endings.

Scroll down to meet the dogs whose lives were transformed, and the families whose hearts grew a little bigger along the way. These success stories aren’t just about dogs — they’re about hope, love, and the extraordinary bond between humans and their four-legged friends.

Breed: Rottweiler | Age: 9 Months |
Gender: Male | Adopted: 28/11/2025 —

💚🐾 Don’t You Just Love a Failed Foster? 🐾💚

Our gorgeous boy Reacher — now Chopper — has absolutely smashed it in his foster home… so much so that he’s officially become a failed foster! And honestly, we couldn’t be happier for him. 💚

He settled in beautifully with his little sisters, has already been to the pub for fish and chips, and has enjoyed lovely walks along the canal. He’s doing exceptionally well — still a couple of things to work on — but overall he’s made amazing progress and is thriving. 🌟

Chopper, you’ve landed exactly where you’re meant to be.
Welcome to your new home, beautiful boy — you’ve well and truly landed on your paws! 🐾💚
